Craft and Growler's concept of using growlers, the large glass containers used to port beer from the tap and one of the freshest ways to enjoy a beer, is one of Dallas’ first craft beer bars. Located just outside of the Fair Park grounds, Craft and Growler puts emphasis on local beers from the Dallas area and Texas, but you'll also find a few notable brews from farther afield.

Located in the Design District, Peticolas Brewing Company has won numerous awards for its beer, including two gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival. This Dallas-born brewery features a three-level taproom where you can enjoy more than a dozen local brews on tap in a fun and relaxing environment with family and friends. Brewery tours take place the first and third Saturdays of every month, costs $10 and come with a branded pint and three beer tokens! This former warehouse is the perfect hangout spot for catching up with friends or spending time with family, offering onsite foosball and ping pong tables.

And walking off the beers is easy – there’s an entrance to the White Rock Lake Trail just off the alehouse’s parking area.
